Jean Lonjezo Binauli is a veteran gospel musician, having recorded her debult album titled “Limba Mtima” at MC studio in 2000. She is a composer and songwriter.
Other albums to her credit are: Uyende ndi Yesu 2002, Yesu ndi Njira 2004, Pa Kalvari 2009 and currently working on 5th album “Yesu ndi Wabwino”. She runs “Letumile Investments” which includes Letumile Music”
Music is her passion from a tender age. She got inspiration from her half sister late Maria Chidzanja and her brother Peter “che Chule”. In fact their father himself was also a musician.
Jean Binauli aka naNkhoma comes from Mtimuni village- Nathenje, TA Mazengera, Lilongwe.
She went to Lilongwe Girls secondary school and later on to Malawi Polytechnic for a secretarial training. Holds bachelor’s degree in human resource management from MIM.
Apart from music
Jean is a poet, an actress, script writer and event planner.
Jean once worked with Standard Bank (formerly Commercial Bank of Malawi) and Press Corporarion Ltd until 2017.
Jean got married to late Owen CSK Binauli and is blessed with three children.
