Hellen Daka was born in 1977 and she is married and has got two children Pitrey and Thokozani.
She started her music career at tender age in the year 1989 with St Francis Choir in area 49 which is now called Kagwa woyera parish, She then joined winner man Band that used to sing gospel music led by Mr Victor Msowoya.
She started her solo career in 1999 and released her first album in 2003 “Mau adzayima” that contained 9 songs. In 2005 she joined Adoration Band that was led by Martha Mituka and released her second album “Sindigwedezeka” in 2006.
She was among the artists that perfomed at lake of stars in 2010 and 2011 at Nkopola with Adoration Band.She then released her third album Afuna upulumuke in 2014 and travelled the same year to Zimbabwe where she was privilleged to be Malawi’s representative at Canival festival.
She did her primary education at Chigoneka primary,Nkomachi primary school and then nkhwichi community day secondary school. She started working with Sunbird capital hotel since 2003 until now.Her recently album is called Ndi Mulungu yekha.
